2011 SPCA Begathon Fundraiser

 Abby enjoyed her shift at the SPCA fundraiser "Begathon" tonight.  As you can see from the picture above, she is saying "Lady, I know you have money in that purse so dig it out and donate".  All of the University students have arrived so our shift was quite busy!!  Everyone liked to stop and talk to Abby and we would say "she is very friendly etc." and when people put their hand out Abby would lift her paw to shake their hand....it was so cute!  Again, we answered several questions about her one blue eye and tonight several people asked us if she had vision in that eye. It is always the topic of discussion  for those who meet Abby for the first time.  Towards the end of the shift, a group of students stopped and we said the usual "she likes people....she is a good dog" and one of the students said "they are all good dogs, some just have bad owners"!!  We could not have said it better ourselves!  We have another shift on Saturday morning from 10AM to 1PM, a very good cause and an easy way support the valuable work of the Fredericton SPCA.
