MY CHAIR AND MY PERSON

As you can see above Little Abby still likes to relax in her favourite chair. She claimed this chair as her own within her first few days here in January 2009. Sometimes she lays in it herself but her most favourite thing is to find a human who would like to share the chair with her. She always asks if she can join by laying her head on your lap and once the invitation has been extended she hops up and gets herself all snuggled in...always getting in the exact same position. She is approximately 65 pounds but thinks she is a 15 pound lap dog which causes some laughter when she tries to get herself situated in the chair! She likes this chair because she can look straight out the patio door at the squirrels and keep an eye on any other moving objects that might come into her yard.
Abby was away on a camping weekend a couple of weeks ago..camping that involved staying in a new log chalet! She joined all the girls for the annual Fall golfing weekend. We could not believe that the nice new accommodations allowed dogs but they did. She had a great weekend of walks, card playing and attention from everyone, she even got to walk up to the golf course to see all the activity.
Abby is having another birthday on October 1st. Little Abby will be 2 years old, where has the time gone? We noticed a posting on the Blog from Abby's Foster Mother, Delia, who we are always so glad to hear from. She rescued Abby and her litter mates in November 2008 and lovingly cared for them (and others) until she was able to find them their "forever" homes.
