Can Life Get Any Better Than This?

Abby visited her canine friend Piper at Pipers cottage in Caisse Cape. Of course this involved an afternoon of swimming and playing on the nice sandy beach. The tide was in so you could walk a long way out and still only be to your knees but if you walked far enough you could stand on a sand bar...yes Abby was walking on water!! Miss Biz was built for swimming! She would get out over where her paws could reach the bottom and swim around with her head out of the water looking around. If she could talk she would have been saying "look at me Mom, look at me". We could see those big webbed paws glide through the water and everyone commented on how she appeared to just be moving via remote control through the water. It was a good job that we had her attached to a long rope or she would have tried to swim to Prince Edward Island. She would start swimming and not have any idea how far she had gone, we would give a little tug on the rope and she would turn around and swim back. We stayed for a nice BBQ and evening before driving home. Miss Abby slept all the way home, she was exhausted! She was so tired that she actually slept in until 7:30AM the following morning. Jees, we need to live near a beach! Until next time.....
