Woof woof,Sorry for taking so long to update the Blog, we have been busy with renovations and don't know where to start! Our computer was in being fixed before the warranty expired, always good to discover problems 30 days before the warranty expires!
Little Abby continues to be active and still so puppy like! As I am updating the Blog she is showing me (by repeatedly sticking a toy on my lap) how the squeaker in her toy works. See, see? Do you hear? Do you see it? Don't you want it? She has an entire toy box full of toys and always chooses the cloth or fuzzy toys with squeakers. She has a beige lamb that she loves and we call it Lammy. Sometimes she takes her toys outside with her and when she returns to the door without the toy we say "go get Lammy" and she runs back out to gather her toy and returns to the door with it in her mouth.
The picture above was taken this weekend when we were cleaning windows in the sunporch. Of course Abby can be found right in the middle of all the activities and decided that she needed to check out what was happening on the street.
Currently we have a Robin who has built a nest right beside our motion detector light on the garage not far off the deck. We watched her gather straw and building materials and over a two day period, she had built a well constructed deluxe condo unit. We hope this doesn't affect our property taxes!! The little problem is....Abby's comings and goings disturb her. We called the bird Marion! Marion leaves the nest everytime we open the door to let Abby out and she lands on the fence. Abby doesn't really think Marion should be on her fence so ensures that poor Marion moves along. Once Abby is back inside, Marion returns to her nest. We think she should have birdies in about 14 days and then the fun should begin when the babies start to fall out of the nest....we will have to do lawn patrol before letting Miss Biz outside.
Abby will be going to the annual SPCA fundraiser Bark in the Park this Sunday with several other dogs. This is a fun filled day at the O'Dell Park for both doggies and their owners. We have many more Abby stories but will add another posting in a few days. Until next time.
