Sunday's are so much fun! Abby played ball in the backyard this afternoon. She loves to bring the ball and drop in just in front of you and just when you go to pick it up to throw it to her...she grabs it and away she goes with it in her mouth. She only runs a short distance before turning around to see if she is being chased and if you pretend you are coming towards her, she backs up while still making eye contact. She wants to make sure you are actually coming to get it!! If you just stand still, she will drop the ball as if to say "here it is, see its on the ground for you to come get". In the top picture she is checking out the big grey squirrel in the tree behind her. She stops dead in her tracks to monitor the activity in the trees. The squirrels chatter at her while they jump from tree to tree while travelling all around the back yard. Abby keeps a close eye and ensures they don't come down the tree into her yard.
So far so good with her "problem" that we mentioned in the last posting. We had a recheck at the Vet this week and everything appears to be back to normal for now. Until next time.......
