FALL YARD WORK.....CAN I HELP?

It is that time of year once again, raking Fall leaves and preparing for snow! We raked close to 20 bags of leaves, cut off all the perennials, put away all the lawn furniture and flower pots and
of course Abby helped like only she can. She loved finding little sticks and twigs and then would come close to ensure we could see her prize but not close enough to grab the twig from her. She had a great day teasing us with her antics and playful games. It was a bit of a balancing act trying to rake leaves while Abby barked at the rake, she wanted to bite the rake and followed it with great interest. Sometimes we let her have some fun with the rake and then the time came to divert her attention to something else so we could pick up the pace and get the job done. The weekend clean-up involved a trip to the landfill with some old stuff from the garage, it was hazardous waste day so we took some old paint and stain cans with us. The man at the weigh station made a fuss over Abby and of course she just sits pretty and soaks it all in. We had to finish our day early because the little ghosts and goblins were coming. Until next time......
