And the winner is......Abby!

This is one of Abby's favourite games. She gets the ball in her mouth and we pretend to chase her and she runs at full speed all around the yard. This year she actually runs around the flower beds and not through them.....well most of the time. She runs from the back of the yard right past us and up onto the deck and then stands and waits.....once we advance towards her....off she goes to do an entire loop around the yard again. She keeps up this game as long as we will chase her. Although we say she stays out of the garden, she does keep her ball safely in the ferns....no kidding! When her doggie friend Stuart came to visit last night we were all standing out on the lawn watching them play and Abby walks right into the middle of the hosta bed and comes out with a ball in her mouth. Yes tucked safely under a fern or hosta! She is such a cute and innocent doggie...not a mean bone in her body. We continue to greet her each morning with "good morning Little Girl" which we have done every morning since she became a member of our family. She knows the tone of the "good morning Little Girl" voice, it is her alarm clock to signal the start of the day. She loves her morning walk and is such a good little walking companion, although still likes to sniff the ground as much as walk. Until next time....
