Check Out My New Bling...

Abby visited the Vet on Wednesday evening to get her rabies shot and was microchiped during the same visit. As a result, she now has a Rabies, Microchip, City of Fredericton License and ID tags hanging from her collar. Dr. Barry noted that she has lots of "bling", which she is not really liking too much! LOL Abby weighed 12.6kg (28lbs) but more importantly she has sprouted up in height; stop growing little girl!
Abby loves to bury her toys in the snow so we have to be very careful what she takes outside because it does not always come back inside with her. It is so entertaining watching her work hard at digging a huge hole in the snow with her front paws. She scoops the snow with great rhythm and determination and you better stand aside because the snow is flying behind her with great force!! When she has finished her "excavation job" we can only see her tail sticking out of the hole because it is so big that her entire little body can fit inside. She then proceeds to bury her "treasure" using her nose to cover in the hole. After her accomplishment, she prances around as if to say "What toy? I don't see any toy."
Oh yes and another Abby story (there are so many).... We had company to dinner tonight and she was not getting all the attention that she normally does so she went upstairs into the dirty laundry and arrived in the dining room with underwear hanging from her mouth!!! The company thought it was quite funny....we of course did not!
Abby has learned the "sit" and "down" command this week and we are working with her to bring in the morning paper, which she is getting very good at. She is a wonderful gift wrapped up in a little fur coat. She has kisses for everyone and a tail that never stops. Until next time....

  1. Hi Abby

I miss you a bunch, I see how much you have grown it seems like only yesterday I held you inside of my coat to keep you warm. Your mom, Martha Jo is taking very good care of you and she loves you very much, stay well and stay out of the laundry!
